The first half of the course is designed to  help teachers recognize the impact of "Habits of Mind" and "Attitudes and Perceptions" through the lens of Social and Emotional Learning. We will be using The Flexible SEL Classroom. (available on Amazon or the college bookstore)

The second half of the course is designed to provide practical applications to "Use Knowledge Meaningfully," "Extend and Refine Knowledge," and "Acquire and Integrate Knowledge" through the lens of a flexible classroom. We will use The Flexible ELA Classroom (available on Amazon or at the college bookstore)

The culminating project for the course is to synthesize what you've learned into a product of your choosing and then to present it to the class.
