6 more days! Are you all in?

In six days, my new book, The Flexible SEL Classroom will be released, and I am beyond excited. Of course I'm excited about a book release, but I am more excited to get a new conversation started, one that I haven't heard before.

How can we differentiate the social and emotional learning of our students while still providing engaging, relevant, and (ugh) rigorous curriculum that we also differentiate? My book takes on this topic, and I know I'm not the only one who is attempting this "all in" philosophy of differentiating for the social, emotional, and academic needs of students all at once, so let's make this conversation a national issue.

So what do I want, more than anything?

Let's talk about how we create cultures in our classroom that honors each student's unique journey, skills, limitations, and talents.

Let's talk about facilitating engaging lessons where students take the lead.

Let's talk about the vast improvements students can make when they are valued and supported, encouraged and not condemned.

Let's talk about going it alone when the school you are in is not focused on these ideas.

Let's talk about how we can do this together!

Get in touch and tell me what you are up to! I'm looking for partners in disruption here :)
